We began our trip by driving 10 hours to St. Louis. We got to the hotel and I got right into the hot tub. Aaaaaaahhhhh. We got up Monday morning and drove to see the home of the Pony Express which was celebrating its 150th anniversary. Did you know it only lasted for one year? And then we went right around the corner to see Jesse James' house which had the actual bullet hole from when he was shot. They also had some creepy pictures of JJ at room temperature. We left there and drove to Omaha, Nebraska to see some friends from our Asbury Seminary days, the Finnestads. I played with my old pal Benjamin. We swam, played Legos, air hockey, and computer games. We woke up this morning and drove to the Omaha Zoo and saw awesome animals. We are now on our way to South Dakota to sleep in an actual covered wagon on the Laura Ingalls Wilder Plantation (Little House on the Prairie)!!!! Wagons ho! :D. We've been listening to the Little House books on tape and it's very interesting stuff.
