Ocracoke is:
- A) A delicious vegetable cola
- B) Someone says, "The Civil War and the Revolutionary War were two different wars."
- C) An awesome island off the coast of N.C.
More about Ocracoke later. After we left the war scholar, we ate lunch at a place called Drunkin' Jack's, but I was not. We must have looked important because we got a window seat view of Goat Island. From our window we could eat seafood and watch the goats walk around. After that we went to the house of some friends named Will and Laurie Parker and their kids Jonathan and Josh. They have a swimming pool and I got to go swimming with Jonathan and Josh. They're two awesome guys and we're friends. We went to Myrtle Beach after supper and when we came back to the house, the kids got in the hot tub. On Friday, we took a two hour ferry to Ocracoke Island. We went to the beach and dad broke out the metal detector. We want to find Black Beard's treasure but all we found was a twisty tie. We had to leave Ocracoke to escape the giant lighthouse cat.
