Revolutionary History (Different from Civil War History)

We've been to some great Revolutionary War locations. First, we went to Williamsburg and Yorktown, VA. In Williamsburg we saw how the people lived back then. In Yorktown we saw how people surrendered back then. We went to the house where Cornwallis surrendered to Washington. It's a little white house called the Moore House. The coolest Revolutionary place we've seen though, is Philadelphia. In Philadelphia, we visited Independence Hall, Benjamin Franklin's house, his post office, his printing shop and his grave, Betsy Ross' house, and the City Tavern. We also saw the Franklin Mint. Remember the lady who told us that the Civil War and the Revolutionary War were two different wars? She must have a brother in Philadelphia. Mom saw a statue from a long way off and asked a park ranger who it was. He said, "That's George Washington. He was our first president."
