Lots of delicious stuff today. Our first stop was Cold Hollow Cider where we had some cold, pure apple cider and a donut that Gourmet Magazine lists as one of the top four in the country. I say it's number 1. After donuts, we took a hike (the perfect beginning to any hike) into the Green Mountains. We met a guy who had a dog called a Griffin (he comes and goes through the Griffin-door) and he was smelly but friendly. When we were nearing the top we saw a teepee so my dad and I smoked a PPP (pretend peace pipe and continued hiking. After walking off the fourth best donut in the world and hiking a few miles, we were dangerously low on fat calories so we went to the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream factory! I got Cherry Garcia, the best selling B&J ice cream in the world. They actually have a graveyard in the back that has tombstones for flavors that didn't make it: Vermonty Python, Wavy Gravy, Oh Pear and Fresh Georgia Peaches to name a few. We ended the day at the Vermont Jazz Festival. Jazzy.
