Baseball, Blues and Broadway

I'm a little behind because I've been having such a good time. On Friday we went to Wrigley field in Wrigleyville to watch the Chicago Cubs play a baseball game. It was FREEZING. Dad said we were cold because we were in nose bleed section and that he thought he saw a Sherpa. In the 7th inning they started started singing one of my favorite songs - "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." I ate a lot of good stuff: peanuts, cotton candy, hotdogs and Coke. Dad shared his pretzel with me too. After the game we went to the Chicago Blues Festival we saw some really cool bands in Grant Park. I also got soaking wet in a cool water pond in Grant Park. They put faces on a giant screen and the faces spit out water. You can run under the...spit. Finally, mom and I went to see the Broadway musical, Mary Poppins. I like 3 songs - Chim Chimeery, Supercalifragilistic song and A Spoonful of Sugar. Dad didn't go because he wanted to hear me sing those songs rather than Mary Poppins.
