Food, Friends and Family

We were in four states today. We left South Dakota and drove to Devil's Tower in Wyoming. As we hiked around the mountain we could see people climbing up the side! Once a guy got stuck on top of Devil's Tower for six days before he was rescued. There is NO WAY I could climb up that thing. I ordered a buffalo burger at the bottom and they brought me a burger in the shape of a buffalo. We drove on to Medora, North Dakota to eat at a place called Pitchfork Fondue. They have hundreds and hundreds of steaks on pitchforks and they dip them into vats of boiling grease. My parents got me a hotdog. After supper we drove to Montana and stayed with some friends named the Thiels. We had lots of fun at their house. They had a real Ms. Pack Man arcade game and we swam in a pool INSIDE THEIR HOUSE and watched fireworks from the hot tub (sweet). We got up the next morning and went back to North Dakota to Minot and saw some cousins that I've never met before. They were awesome. They are the Kempers and they took us out on a boat on Lake Sakakawea. They call it that and said we've been mispronouncing it all along when we say Sacagawea. I guess we've been misspelling it too. Then we had a July 4th cookout with fireworks. We have a GREAT FAMILY!!
