16 Years!

Woohooo! July 2nd was Mom and Dad’s anniversary. They’ve been married for 16 years. We started the celebration by going to Sylvan Lake. The lake is surrounded by giant rocks. We hiked around the lake and then we were going to go out on a paddle boat but they lost the keys to the life jacket container! They finally found them and we were the first people to get a boat. After lunch Dad and I went to a 100 year old water park called Evan’s Plunge. On the way home we ran into a South Dakota traffic jam. Buffalos were crossing the road. We sat there for a about 20 minutes and saw a couple of babies walking next to their moms. It was fun. We drove a little more and saw some prairie dogs. That night we drove to Deadwood to eat at Jakes. Kevin Costner started this restaurant and stuff from his movies is hanging all over the walls.
