You say Bison I say Buffalo

Yesterday we went to the Crazy Horse Monument. The carving began in 1948 and is still going today. It will be the largest carving in the world. In fact the entire carving of Mt. Rushmore can fit in Crazy Horse’s head. After that we went to Mt. Rushmore and saw the carvings of the presidents. Check out the name of the guy who carved it...Gutzon Borglum. Say that three times fast. Our next visit was to Reptile Garden where they have a bunch of the most poisonous snakes in the world. Mom said she would find something else to do and we could go by ourselves. My dad told me he would give me something if I touched the boa constrictor. I did and he gave me a pat on the back. I also got to scratch a giant tortoise under his neck. He was much calmer than Clyde. I don’t think that tortoise would like Clyde all that much. But maybe. We went back to get mom, ordered a pizza and had a picnic in Custer State Park. We drove on the Wildlife loop and saw a pronghorn deer, several burros, prairie dogs and several bison. One bison was so close to the car we could have petted him.
