We started day 2 of our journey at Lynn's Paradise Cafe in Louisville, KY. This place is pretty weird. It has a red-headed woodpecker on the wall, several pairs of legs sticking out of the wall, and lots of ugly lamps from an ugly lamp contest. Then it was off to the races. We drove to Churchill Downs to see where they race the horses. The winner of this year's race was Mine that Bird which is a freaky name. Then we went to Indianapolis, IN to see the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was really fun because they took us for a ride around the track. The Indy cars go over 200 miles per hour but the bus only went about 2 miles per hour. I got two smashed pennies there. After that we drove to Chicago and ate at the famous Superdawg Drive In Restaurant. Yum. I ordered a Supercheesie and my dad and I went to the bathroom. There was a guy in there making lots of loud coughing noises. I hope he wasn't making my Supercheesie. At the end of the night dad was sleepy so mom and I went to watch the fire works down by Grant Park in Chicago.
